Two KHS Students Attend Minister's Student Council
20 Mar 2025
Two amazing KHS students Khloe Vale and Dion Beilby were chosen this year to represent Connected Communities as representatives for the Minister's Student Council. Only 27 students are selected from across New South Wales who work directly with the Education Secretary and Minister for Education twice a term and serve as important voices for all students in New South Wales Public Education.
They have just returned from the first meeting of 2025 held in the NSW Parliament Legislative Assembly. The sessions opened with Khloe giving the acknowledgement of country and also included time for students to meet their fellow council members.
The Minister's Student Council is an initiative of the NSW Government to ensure student voices are heard in developing education policy and addressing matters of concern to students.
We are so proud of these wonderful student leaders and the important consultation and learning they will engage in this year.
