Last week was School Administrative and Support Staff (SAS Staff) Recognition Week. Our SAS Staff are integral to the success of Kempsey High School. Our SAS Staff are spread throughout the school in the following positions: School Administrative Manager, School Administrative Officers, School Learning Support Officers, Aboriginal Education Officers, SSO, TSO, SLCE Farm Assistant, Technology and our General Assistant.
Kempsey High School celebrated all of the work that our SAS Staff do for our students and teachers. Our SAS staff work in many areas of the school and their roles and responsibilities are varied. You might see some of our wonderful SAS staff in the front office or may know of the work they do within the Wellbeing Team. Your child may receive direct help from an SLSO, who works as part of the team that gives one on one support to students in the classroom. Many times you may not see our support staff, but the work they do in fields such as science, agriculture, food technology, textiles, wood technology, school maintenance, and computer technology is vital in keeping the school running and helping teachers with any number of tasks.
We would like to thank them for all of the hard work that they do and for the effort they put in each day in ensuring our students can get the best out of Kempsey High School.
