Inter-School Debating Day

On Friday 2ndNovember, Kempsey High School hosted the Year 7 & 8 junior debating day for students from Melville High, St. Paul's College and Kempsey High. Nearly 100 students took part as debaters or officials in twenty-four debates. The emphasis of the day was on participation and it provided an excellent opportunity to develop the skills of debating, thinking on your feet and argument. This annual event has been going for eleven years. Well done everyone.
